Water – our cradle before birth: this is the element that bathes the seeds of life, that circulates through our bodies just as it circulates between the oceans and the skies. The expression of water is unusually diverse as it transforms between liquid, solid, and gas, manifestions taking form from cutting glaciers to illusive mists.
Water is the element of emotion and healing. Our emotional world echoes this movement – we can emotionally freeze, allow the tears to flow, or become clouded by our emotions. When we suppress our feelings the energy tends to get locked into the body. This stagnation can often result in various imbalances and dis-ease.
Our emotions are vibrational subtle vibrational states, indicators of our current state of consciousness and intention. Dr. Masaru Emoto was a Japanese scientist who revolutionised the idea that our thoughts and intentions (subtle sound vibrations) can effect the molecular structure of water. He demonstrated this by photographing water crystals that had been exposed to various words, types of music and prayer. The results of his research revealed that the most beautiful water crystals formed through the vibrational intention of love and gratitude.
Simply working with the knowledge that water responds to our state of consciousness and reflects this information back into our cells places us in an immensely powerful position. A greater awareness and connection to our inner state opens space for creativity regarding how we respond to this state.
How we are in each moment, how we think and therefor feel, will affect our attitude and behaviour, and the results of our behaviour. This will affect our bodies, which are 70% water, as is the body of water on Earth.
